Jackalope Artisan Bakery is a small cottage bakery from my home in Menlo Park, Tucson, AZ, sparked by a passion for baking sourdough and a desire to share that love with my friends and family. As a stay-at-home dad with over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry and several years working in the wind energy sector, I discovered a new joy in crafting simple, handmade baked goods that bring people together.
What started as a weekly bake for friends and family quickly grew as word spread about my sourdough loaves, scones, and biscotti. From the beginning, I’ve baked with a personal touch, keeping things cozy and focused on quality, just as if I were baking for my own family, in my own kitchen—because I am. Each batch is made with the same care and attention bring to my own family’s table.
As demand grows, so does my vision. Jackalope Artisan Bakery is evolving, but my commitment remains the same: to bake with care, use the best ingredients, and continually improve. My dream is to one day take the bakery mobile, bringing freshly baked goods to local markets and serving my community wherever the road leads.
For now, I continue baking from my home kitchen, connecting with my community one loaf, one scone, and one cookie at a time. It’s more than just bread—it’s about fostering connections and sharing joy.
